With the upcoming Honda Livo's spied images going viral over the internet few days back, another bike is expected to roll out under Honda’s nameplate by the end of this year. Going by its first look, the bike has been majorly derived from company’s flagship 160cc naked motorcycle, Honda CB Unicorn 160. The prime changes being neat and plain, which are twin rear grab rails and twin spring aided rear shock absorbers. Furthermore, the bike receives CBX inspired bikini fairing and sports a robust rounded headlamp section at the front. As per some sources, the machine has also been patented as Honda CBX due to the incorporation of the same rounded headlamp that has been employed in the legendary CBX lineup over the years.

In terms of mechanicals, the bike will come bolted on the same single downtube frame that holds together CB Unicorn 160. Honda’s signature Combined Braking System (CBS) maintains its presence here as well along with the front disc and rear drum brake. The engine used will be the old 150cc, air-cooled, four-stroke to reduce the production costs. So, basically the bike is seen as the toned down version of Honda CB Unicorn 160 and the manufacturer will be launching it to improve its stats in the country’s 150cc-160cc motorcycle segment.

Moreover, a 110cc commuter christened as Honda Livo will also be making its debut anytime soon as its test mule was spotted a few days back doing final runs on the Indian roads. The bike will supposedly replace the CB Twister that might improve the company’s position in the entry-level utility motorcycle segment of the country.
