Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched a new 110cc motorcycle- Livo, starting at Rs. 52,989 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is also available with the front disc brake option, which comes with a price tag of Rs. 55,489.
Based on the Honda's successful Dream series' platform, Honda livo keeps that reliable engineering that you trust on. Styling of the bike is sportier than any other motorcycle in the 110cc segment. It has an angular, sharp headlamp design with artificial air ducts on its bikini fairing. Fuel tank of the bike looks much flamboyant with shrouds on it, which also holds the 3D metallic Wing Mark. Its analog instrument cluster looks unique with the hexagonal shaped twin dials and well-arranged tell tale lights. Rear design of the bike is perfect, which looks more jaunty with its short side-slung type muffler.
Propelling the Honda Livo is the same 109.2cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which also powers the other 110cc Honda's. The motor comes mated to a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox via wet multi-plate clutch set-up. Using a carburetor type fuel system, it makes power up to 8.2bhp at 7,500rpm and delivers torque up to 8.63Nm at 5,500rpm.
The new Honda Livo comes with telescopic front and spring loaded hydraulic rear suspension set-up. It runs on 18" alloy wheels with 80/100 section tubeless tyres. Both the wheels have been equipped with a 130mm drum brake unit, however, there is also an option for 240mm disc brake for the front. Other features of the bike include electric start, viscous air-filter, maintenance free battery and more.
