Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has earlier announced to unveil 15 models this financial year, out of which, six are already out now. The remaining launches to roll on the Indian roads soon are the refreshed CBR150R, CBR250R and CBR650F. Besides, the company also plans to bring in two bikes under 110cc to 125cc category along with an electric scooter.
As per recent reports, the Gurgaon-based manufacturer has plans to retire its 110cc player CB Twister due to its poor sales figure. The bike showed a sale of just 171 units in April, 2015, which is no less than a nightmare for any two-wheeler company. Honda CB Twister is undoubtedly a promising commuter motorcycle but it loses out on some essential aspects such as a longer seat and a full chain cover. Moreover, the bike doesn't have Honda Eco Technology (HET) that offers an improved performance and mileage.
So, the current scenario hints that the company may replace it with its upcoming 110cc motorcycle which is rumored to be named as Honda Livo 110. The machine shares some of its characteristics with CB Dream & Unicorn 160 and is expected to have a better specification list with a 110cc engine. Furthermore, the manufacturer seems to be putting more efforts on its aesthetics and it will be interesting to see if the bike comes with a CB nameplate or not. The exact price of the bike is not available at the moment, but hopefully, it will come carrying a tag of around Rs. 50,000. For those who missed it, Honda Livo 110 was caught testing In India few weeks back and may arrive anytime soon.
