The motorcycle looks pretty much production-ready, and it will be more affordable than the Jawa Perak
- The Jawa Cruiser gets an upright riding stance, split seat, and a raked-out fork.
- Will likely be powered by the same engine as the Perak.
- Launch likely early next year.
The Jawa Cruiser has been spotted testing again in a production-ready form. The motorcycle will essentially be a more affordable and practical version of the Jawa Perak, and it’s likely to cost around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect Jawa to launch the cruiser early next year, and it’ll then go up against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
The camouflaged test mule features a raked-out front fork, a peanut-shaped fuel tank, easy-to-reach handlebars, and mid-set footpegs (the rider is resting his feet on the pillion footpegs). Unlike the Jawa Perak, this one can accommodate a pillion, thanks to the split-seat setup. The headlight is likely to be a halogen unit, tail light could be LED, and the indicators bulb. The test bike earlier had bar-end mirrors, but this test mule gets regular rearview mirrors.
Perak's engine shown for representation
The Jawa Cruiser will likely be powered by the same 334cc engine as the Perak. In the bobber, it churns out 30.64PS and 32.74Nm, and this should remain unaltered in the cruiser too. The blacked-out twin exhausts look stealthy and go well with the blacked-out powertrain and underpinnings.
The bike rolls on alloys; the one at the front appears slightly larger than the rear unit. Braking is via discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

The upcoming Jawa Cruiser should help the bikemaker get a stronger foothold in the lucrative cruiser segment that’s currently dominated by the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. It will also go up against the upcoming Honda CB350 Cruiser, which is likely to be launched later next year. In a related development, Jawa’s sister company, Yezdi, is all set to enter the Indian market soon.
