Italian bike manufacturer MV Agusta and the ParkinGO Team have partnered and signed a three-year contract to compete in the World Supersport Championship. The Italian manufacturer, which is producing positive sales numbers in the 600cc market, will debut the MV Agusta F4 675 triple in the 2013 World Supersport Championship. MVA didn't announce who would pilot the 675, but Luca Scassa is likely the candidate. The ParkinGO team, the 2011 World Supersport Champion (Yamaha, Luca Scassa) will develop the 675 to be competitive in the upcoming seasons, wanting to add to MV Agusta's 37 world titles won by Giacomo Agostini. The contract was signed Thursday, which was also Claudio Castiglioni's 65th birthday. Speaking of the significant date for the president of MV Agusta, the company from Schiranna says "the date is not just a simple coincidence, but is a virtual continuation of the sporting passion that had always been an important part of his life."
