New Ducati Monster 795 now at Rs 5.99 lacs

Post its launch on January 6th at the Auto Expo, Ducati India today announced a special introductory price for the Ducati Monster 795. Developed specially for Asia, this urban entry level Ducati model will now be available for INR 5,99,000 (ex-showroom) for a limited period, making it the most affordable Ducati model in India. Announcing the revision, Ashish Chordia, CEO, Ducati India said "It was always our endeavor to price this model attractively and we have succeeded in passing on the full benefits of the Thailand FTA to our customers.

The response to the Monster 795 in just two days since its launch has been overwhelming and with the special price we expect the demand to grow exponentially." Founded in 1926, Ducati  has been producing sport-inspired motorcycles since 1946.  Their motor cycles are characterized by "Desmodromic" performance engines, innovative design and avant- garde technology. Covering several market segments, Ducati's range of motorcycles are divided into model families which include: Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Streetfighter and Superbike.

These authentic icons of "made in Italy" are sold in over 80 countries around the world, with concentration on the European, North-American and Asia Pacific markets. Ducati competes in both the World Superbike Championship and, with an official team, the World Moto GP Championship. In Superbike, Ducati has won 16 Manufacturers' titles and 13 Riders' titles. Ducati have participated in MotoGP since 2003, and took both the Manufacturers' and Riders' titles in
2007.
