Quick News Highlights:

- Ultraviolette Automotive is planning to enter a new bike segment next year, according to a report published online

- The EV maker is planning have offerings in the ADV, cruiser, roadster and supersport segments in the next 3 years

- The recently unveiled Concept X could be the bike launched next year

According to a report published online, during a conversation with another publication, Ultraviolette Automotive’s CEO Narayan Subramaniam revealed that the EV maker is planning on entering a new motorcycle segment in 2025. He further revealed that the manufacturer is targeting to have ADV, cruiser, roadster and supersport offerings in the next three years.

Currently, Ultraviolette Automotive has only one motorcycle in its segment - the F77 Mach 2. Ever since the F77’s launch, it has always been a fascinating electric bike from the EV space with its attention grabbing styling and exciting performance. And it has managed to bear the brand’s name on its own in the competitive EV market quite well till now. But in order to generate further sales and have a bigger market penetration, Ultraviolette will need to launch new and different motorcycles in the coming years so as to provide a diverse range of EVs for its prospective customers.

The manufacturer recently unveiled the Concept X at EICMA 2024. The ADV is still in a concept phase but looks rugged with the knuckle guards, engine guards, high-rise beak like fender and sharp fuel tank extensions. As it was seen with 17-inch wheels, the Concept X seems to be more of a road-biased ADV and mainly designed for touring purposes. If the Concept X turns out to be Ultraviolette Automotive’s next product to be launched in 2025, then it’ll surely be interesting to have an electric ADV in the Indian two-wheeler market.
