The Italian auto maker- Ducati has finally unvieled its Scrambler range of motorcycles at the 2014 Intermot Cologne Show. The range includes 4 different models christened as Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Urban Enduro, Scrambler Full Throttle and Scrambler Classic. Bolted on a twin upper spar steel Trellis frame, all the 4 models are propelled by an oil cooled L-twin two-valve 803 cc engine, which also powers the Monster 796. The smooth running engine puts out 75bhp of maximum power at 8,250rpm and a peak torque of 68Nm at 5,750rpm.
The Kayaba suspension system on the Ducati Scrambler combines 41 mm upside down stanchion forks at the front and a monoshock with adjustable spring preload at the rear, providing 150 mm of travel at both the wheels. The 3"x18" front rim comes covered by Pirelli MT60 RS 110/80 ZR18 tyre, while the section of rubber on the 5.5"x17" rear wheel is 180/55 ZR17. The bike gets dual Brembo disc brakes with 330mm disc on the front and 245mm disc on the rear wheels, both assisted by the Bosch 9.1 MP AMS system with an internal pressure sensor.
