Looks like the bike is pretty much production ready, and sports a soft pannier with saddle stay and a top box
The Triumph Bajaj Scrambler 350 was spotted in India (for the first time) earlier, but this time around, we get to see clearest images of the motorcycle by far. It gives us a glimpse of the semi-digital instrument cluster for the first time. While one can clearly see the analogue tacho, the digital inset will likely get turn-by-turn navigation apart from showing a host of other informative data.
Unlike the one spotted earlier in the country, this one comes with a raised fender, in line with the scrambler theme of the motorcycle. One can also see the full-length fork shrouds, which honestly look a little too crudely designed. The lighting is all-LED, and the small windscreen completes the look up front. As the motorcycle is meant to take on trails, it gets a proper set of upper and lower crash guards, along with a metal bash plate for a well-rounded protection.
The test mule features a split seat setup along with a soft pannier mounted on a saddle stay on the left, and a removable hard case top box perched atop a dedicated luggage rack. Oh, the compact looking fuel tank also gets tank grips and an offset fuel tank cap. Though the footpeg position is slightly rearset, the easy-to-reach braced handlebars (that also gets knuckle guards) should keep the rider comfy while munching miles.

Speaking of which, expect the motorcycle to be powered by a 350-400cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that should produce around 35-38PS. The motorcycle should be highway worthy, and the large, seemingly 320mm front disc with radial calliper should help in shedding speeds effectively. Its inverted fork is complemented by a monoshock mounted on an aluminium swingarm. Another neat attention to detail is the high-set double barrel exhaust that should ensure decent water-wading capabilities.
Expect the Triumph-Bajaj Scrambler 350 to be launched by the end of the year, as hinted by the two brands’ recent announcement of Bajaj taking over Triumph’s operations in India. It will likely be priced at around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go up against Royal Enfield Scram 411, Yezdi Scrambler, and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250.
