The Japanese auto major Suzuki's GW250 aka Inazuma motorcycle has been spotted in Mumbai. The spotted vehicle was fully uncamouflaged and without licesing plate. Earlier, we reported that Suzuki is to launch the quarter litre bike in India at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo and the bike will come via CKD route, assembled at their manufacturing plant in Gurgaon, Haryana.
So, the company might started importing and assembling of the CKD units in India. Which makes it quite possible that the company can start deliveries of the bike very soon after the launch. The bike is expected to be priced under Rs. 2 lakh.
Suzuki Inazuma comes with a 248cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, parallel twin, which churns out 26bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 24Nm can be achieved at 7,000rpm. The street bike returns excellent mileage of 36kmpl using fuel injection, six speed gearbox and ECO mode indicator.
The naked sport bike sports an aggressive look and features a muscular fuel tank, bold headlamp, elegant tank cowls with integrated turn indicators, wide tyres, three spoke alloys and dual chrome exhaust muffler. The bike gets the conventional telescopic forks at the front, single shock suspension with aluminium swing-arm at the rear, front and rear disk brakes and clip-on handle bars. Here comes almost all the features needed to make a bike, perfect entry level street machine.
