While the Bonneville range received the BS6 tag in January itself, Triumph didn’t make a formal announcement. Until now
- The BS6 range of Bonnevilles will be priced the same as their BS4 counterparts.
- However, the manufacturer will hike prices of the bikes in July 2020.
- Triumph has announced attractive finance schemes for these bikes.
- Expiring warranty periods will be extended to 30th June 2020.
Triumph’s iconic Bonneville range of motorcycles are now BS6 compliant. In fact, the range was updated in January itself, well before the April 2020 deadline. However, Triumph never made a formal announcement until now.
While most BS6 bikes and scooters cost more than their BS4 predecessors, that isn’t the case with the Bonneville, at least not for now. Instead, Triumph has said that it will increase the price of the bikes in July this year. The BS6 Bonneville range consists of the Street Twin, the T100, T120 and the Speedmaster. The rest of the range - the Speed Twin, Bonneville Bobber, Thruxton 1200 R, Scrambler 1200 and the Street Scrambler - will be updated over the course of the year.
Triumph owners will also be relieved to know that free service, warranty, and extended warranty that were set to expire between March 20 to May 3 have been extended by almost two months. Periodic maintenance for these vehicles won’t be affected either as long as customers make sure their vehicles are serviced within the next 30 days.
Speaking of BS6 updates, the 2020 Street Triple RS is slated to be launched tomorrow, which only leaves the Tiger 900 out of the equation. Customers who are interested in getting their hands on the BS6 Bonneville range can get in touch with their nearest Triumph dealership or by calling the brand’s customer care number: 1800-1020-104.
