The day is finally upon us. India has received Black edition Triumphs for the first time ever. The bikes in question are Black editions of the Bonneville T100 and T120, which have been launched at the same price as their regular counterparts. That means the T100 Black is priced at Ts 8,87,400 while the T120 Black costs Rs 9,97,600 (ex-showroom pan-India). Not to be confused with the regular black colour options, these special editions feature various blacked out components in place of the blingy chrome parts used on standard versions.
The dark treatment is given to the all body panels, the fork, the frame, wheels, pretty much everything. The only bits that aren’t black are the tank badges, shock absorbers, wheel spokes, mirrors and throttle body covers. This results in a far more understated, anonymous and less flashy appearance.

Both bikes get two colour options within the Black editions: Jet Black is common to both, the T100 gets a Matte Black option, while the T120 is available in a Matte Graphite scheme. It's not surprising that these editions aren't more expensive than the standard versions, since it’s usually more expensive to finish parts in chrome.
