Be ready to shell out more money on TVS scooters
Price hikes have come in 2021 with full force for two-wheeler manufacturers. TVS Motor has hiked the prices of four of its popular scooters: Scooty Pep Plus, Scooty Zest, Jupiter and the NTorq 125. The Scooty Pep Plus is now priced at Rs 54,374 for the gloss paint variant and Rs 56,224 for the matte edition. Whereas, the Jupiter STD variant has gone from Rs 63,852 to Rs 65,497 (all ex-showroom Delhi).

The price hike ranges from Rs 620 to Rs 2,770. TVS has made no mechanical or cosmetic upgrades to any of the scooters to go with the increased prices. The TVS Jupiter is the brand’s best selling scooter. It has a 109.77cc engine that makes 7.47PS and 8.4Nm. The Jupiter competes against the Hero Maestro Edge 110, Honda Activa 6G and the Hero Pleasure Plus.
