TVS will unveil the bike on September 16
A few days ago, we reported that TVS was planning to launch a couple of 125cc two-wheelers in September. Now, the Hosur-based company has officially teased one of the upcoming 125cc bikes on social media. Here’s what we could make of the short teaser videos.
The bike’s ‘commuter’ focus doesn’t seem to dull the aesthetics. It gets a distinctive LED headlight with DRLs, giving it a premium touch. However, the turn indicators house conventional bulbs to probably keep costs in check.

The visuals also reveal a fully digital LCD console with multiple readouts like the speedometer, odometer, time, gear-position indicator, service reminder, eco mode, fuel gauge, and a rider greeting feature. The company has chosen to go with a split-seat setup and a single-piece grab rail.
TVS has teased the motorcycle in as many as four colour options: yellow, red, black, and another dark shade (the specifics of which are a little difficult to assess from the video). The blacked-out panels make for a little contrast.
Contrary to our speculation over the Fiero name being revived, the teaser displays an ‘R’ badge. This small easter egg could possibly mean that it would be called ‘Raider’ or ‘Retron’, the two names TVS had trademarked almost a year ago. That said, the official unveiling is only a couple of days away, so hold tight -- all our questions should be answered soon.
