The 110cc scooter’s important details explained
The TVS Wego has been around for a while and its updates over the years have been limited to refreshed graphics, a BS4 motor, and SYNC combined braking technology. Despite that, the Wego looks fresh and continues to be relevant. It fits in between the Scooty Zest 110 and the TVS Jupiter but has its own unique identity. Here’s what you need to know about this 110cc scooter:
It sits between the Zest 110 and Jupiter:
The Wego’s bodywork is larger than that of the Scooty Zest 110 but smaller than the Jupiter. Hence, it is ideal for those looking for a scooter larger than the Zest but not as large as the Jupiter. Despite Wego slotting between these two, it has a unique styling -- different from both the Zest and the Jupiter.

It is as easy to ride as the Scootys:
Unlike the Scooty Zest, the Wego gets a metal body that adds weight. Despite the Wego weighing a lot more than the Scooty Pep Plus and Scooty Zest 110, it is as easy to ride as these two. This is because of TVS’s body balance technology wherein the scooter’s weight is better distributed and the center of gravity is low. The Wego is one of the better handling scooters out there.
It gets 9 colours:
The Wego gets five metallic colours and four dual-tone colours. Get details of the colour options here.
It gets a full-digital instrument console:
The Wego was one of the first scooters sold in India to get a full-digital instrument console. This circular unit displays the speed, fuel level, time and service and battery warning indicator.
Gets an USB charger:
The Wego gets a USB charger underneath the seat. This can be used to charge smartphones and other small devices.
It gets an external fuel filler cap:
Like the Jupiter, the Wego gets an external fuel filler cap. So with the Wego, you do not have to open the seat to access the fuel tank. Its 5-litre fuel tank capacity is similar to Jupiter. In our tests, the Wego returns 52.8kmpl in the city and 53.3kmpl on the highway.
It shares its powertrain with the Jupiter:
Like the Scooty Zest 110, even the Wego shares its powertrain with the Jupiter. Its 109.7cc motor makes the same 8PS and 8.4Nm of torque and gets a CVT transmission. In our acceleration tests, the Wego accelerated from 0-60kmph in 8.81 seconds -- almost half a second quicker than the Jupiter.
It gets comfortable suspension:
While the ride quality is not as plush as the Jupiter, the Wego tackles imperfect road surfaces well. This can be attributed to its front forks and gas charged monoshock suspension setup.
It gets a disc brake:
TVS offers the Wego with an optional 220mm front disc. Both disc and drum brake variants get TVS’s SYNC combined braking system. The Wego also gets 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
It is marginally expensive than the Scooty Zest 110:
The Wego is priced at Rs 53,469 (single-tone colours) and Rs 54,369 (dual-tone metallic). The base Wego costs just Rs 700 more than the Scooty Zest matte series. (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
