Considering the rising fuel prices, a lot of people are trying to shift to electric two-wheelers for their daily commutes. So if you are one of them, then here we bring you the list of EV's that are likely to arrive in 2022. 

Hero Vida - 

Hero MotoCorp’s Latest Trademark Hints At A New Electric Two-wheeler Subsidiary

Recently, Hero MotoCorp announced that its electric two-wheeler project is in an advanced stage, and its first EV will be launched by March 2022. Soon after this announcement, we managed to get our hands on a total of six trademarks filed by the brand: Vida Motorcycles’, ‘Vida Scooters’, ‘Vida MotoCorp’, ‘Vida Mobility’, ‘Vida EV’ and ‘Vida Electric. Vida is likely to be Hero MotoCorp's new subsidiary under which the brand will roll out electric two-wheelers. Hero has also revealed that its electric vehicles will be manufactured at its plant in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.

Suzuki Burgman Electric - 

The Suzuki Burgman Electric has been spotted testing multiple times, that too in its production-ready version, so we are expecting it to arrive in India in the first quarter of 2022. As per the spy shots, we know that the e-scooter gets a white paint scheme with blue highlights, LED taillight and it employs a telescopic fork up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. We expect the e-scooter to get a claimed range of 70-90km and to be priced between Rs 1.1 lakh - Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom).

Simple One - 

Simple One Electric Scooter Launched At Rs 1.10 lakh

Simple Energy is a Bengaluru-based startup that recently launched the Simple One electric scooter, which comes with a claimed range of 203km on eco mode. The e-scooter is priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), and comes loaded with features such as a tyre-pressure monitoring system, four riding modes (Eco, Rain, Dash and Sonic) and a 7-inch touchscreen display with smartphone connectivity. Deliveries of the Simple One will begin in 2022. Meanwhile, customers can pre-order the electric scooter through its website by paying a token amount of Rs 1,947. 

Tork T6X - 

EXCLUSIVE: Tork T6X Electric Bike Spied Again

A Pune-based electric startup, Tork had unveiled its T6 e-bike in 2016. The electric bike was also recently spotted testing, again. The spy shots have revealed that the e-bike features a triangular-shaped LED headlight, split-type seat, a tyre hugger, and a TFT instrument cluster. Meanwhile, the company claims that the T6X offers a range of 100km, and charges from 0-80 percent in just one hour. We expect the Tork T6X to be launched in 2022 and to be priced at Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ultraviolette F77 - 

Ultraviolette F77 Electric Bike’s India Launch Timeline Revealed

Ultraviolette, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle startup, has announced that the first batch of its performance-oriented e-bike, the F77, will arrive in India by March 2022. The F77 gets aggressive styling, a claimed top speed of 140kmph, and a claimed range starting from 150km. Considering the equipment on offer, we expect the price of the F77 to start at Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Other notable upcoming electric two-wheelers include the TVS Creon which was first showcased at Auto Expo 2018, the Vespa Electtrica which is expected to arrive by late 2022, the Husqvarna Vektorr e-scooter that comes with a claimed top speed of 45kmph and a range of 95km, Honda's e-scooter which might be an electrified version of the Activa and a much affordable Bounce electric scooter.
