Its official unveiling could happen as early as November 15
[UPDATE: Yezdi has launched three new bikes in India, including the Roadster, Adventure and the Scrambler. Full details in our launch story]
Just a day after the Yezdi ADV’s sighting, its sibling, the upcoming Yezdi Scrambler, has been spotted again. But this time, sans camouflage.
It’s painted in a dapper-looking shade of silver, and the fuel tank gets black and blue stripes with the ‘Legendary Yezdi’ sticker right in between. The fuel tank cap gets a chrome finish, and contrasting the overall theme is the engine finished in black.

Speaking of the powertrain, it will likely be shared with the standard Jawa. It’s a 293cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor with output rated at 27.33PS and 27.02Nm. However, we expect it to run on a different tune to suit the scrambler’s purpose.
A closer look, and you’ll notice that the Yezdi Scrambler gets block-pattern tyres with alloys, which should aid mild off-roading. From the previous round of spyshots, we’ve also learnt that the Scrambler could run on a conventional telescopic fork and dual rear springs.
Moreover, co-founder of Classic Legends, Anupam Thareja, recently tweeted, ‘Diwali got over, but I’ve still got one cracker left. Any guesses?’ So, this could be a hint for the official unveiling/launch of the Yezdi Scrambler on November 15, which happens to be the anniversary of the company’s resurgence.
Expect the Yezdi Scrambler to be pegged at around Rs 1.75 lakh. Its probable rival will be the Husqvarna 250 twins.
