Here are the top five news reports from the world of two-wheelers that made it to the front page

2020 has been off to a tremendous start. We are seeing several BS6 two-wheelers and electric two-wheelers being launched almost every week. This past week was no different. From KTM updating its entire model lineup to Bajaj launching the BS6-compliant Platina and CT range, there’s a lot you may have missed. Here are the top five highlights of the past week that made it to the front page: 

Ather 450X Launched: 

Ather has launched a new variant, the 450X, and it’s more than just a normal colour update. The 450X is a bit more powerful and offers more range than the standard model. So it should be more expensive than the standard model, right? Err, no. Because, Ather has priced the 450X at just Rs 99,000! 

KTM Updates Its Entire India Model Lineup To BS6:

Austrian bike maker, KTM has updated its entire India model lineup to meet the BS6 emission norms well before the April 1 deadline. While some models have received just a normal colour update, others have undergone some mechanical changes as well. You can read our detailed report here. But before you do that, we need to inform you that KTM has introduced some cool paint options this time. So if you’re planning to buy the BS4 variant, you might want to rethink. 

TVS Apache RR310 BS6 Launched: 

TVS had to update its flagship motorcycle, the RR310 to meet the new emission norms. So what it did was go back to the drawing board and improve the motorcycle in every aspect. There’s now a 5-inch TFT display, rider models and Bluetooth connectivity. And all of this is just for Rs 12,000 more

Bajaj Platina 110, CT100 BS6 Launched In India

Bajaj has finally launched its first BS6-compliant motorcycles in India. The bike maker’s highest-selling range, the CT and the Platina, have been updated to BS6. But to keep costs in check, Bajaj has opted for an electronic carburettor. What else has changed? Head here to know. Bajaj could also launch the BS6-compliant Pulsar 150 soon as the motorcycle has started reaching dealerships.

Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Black Limited Edition Launch On February 10

Royal Enfield has unveiled a new matte black edition of the Classic 500 with an unusually long name. The limited edition Classic 500 will be launched on February 10.
