These electric two-wheelers can curb your range anxiety a fair bit
One of the major challenges for electric two-wheelers has been range anxiety and some electric two-wheelers, with their impressive range, have been doing their bit to curb it. Here’s a look at the ones with the highest range, that we have tested so far:
Ola S1 Pro: 141km
The Ola S1 Pro’s 4kWh lithium-ion battery pack boasts of an impressive range of 141km in Normal mode and 136km in Eco mode. That’s by far the best range we have gotten on an electric two-wheeler. Moreover, that range is backed with impressive performance as well.
TVS iQube Electric S: 114.7km
The Hosur-based manufacturer updated its electric scooter with better features and more range. We have recently tested the iQube Electric S and it returned an impressive range of 114.7km, almost 15km more than its claimed range of 100km.
Ather 450X Gen 2: 91.4km
Ather Energy introduced the premium electric two-wheeler scooter segment in India. The second-generation model had a range of 91.4km in Eco mode, and with the new third-generation e-scooter, Ather 450X claims an impressive 105km.
So this was our pick, though there are many more EVs with some great claimed range figures. If you are looking to buy one, here is the list of the highest-range EVs available on sale in India.
