From commuter scooters to performance electric bikes, there’s quite a bit to look forward to
The electric two-wheeler industry has been quite busy this year with multiple electric scooters and bike launches. That said, there are plenty more to come and here is what we look forward to.
Ultraviolette F77
India’s first performance-oriented electric bike, the Ultraviolette F77 will finally enter the market later this month. The e-bike has been delayed for over two years now, but the peeps at Ultraviolette have worked hard to make the e-bike even better. TVS iQube ST
The top-of-the-range TVS iQube Electric ST variant is likely to be launched in the coming weeks. The ST variant of the e-scooter flaunts a bunch of incredible and modern features along with a claimed real range of 140km. You can head here for more details.
Hero Vida Electric Scooter
Hero MotoCorp established the Vida sub-brand for its electric portfolio and its first product will be an electric scooter. Hero was initially supposed to launch the e-scooter in March 2022, however, the Splendor maker postponed the EV’s debut to the festive season, hinting at an October launch. More Affordable Ather Scooter
An Ather Energy e-scooter was spied testing under camouflage recently, hinting at the impending arrival of a more affordable Ather 450X and 450 Plus. You can check out more details here. The e-scooter can be expected to debut sometime later this year.
LML
LML, a popular scooter brand from the late 1900s, is set to make a comeback with electric bikes in India. The veteran bike manufacturer has registered two bike names and you can check more about them, including their launch timelines here.

An updated version of the 2022 Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is on the brink of launch. The new, bigger, more premium and powerful e-scooter can be expected to break cover by the end of this calendar year.
Honorary mention - Simple One
The Simple One electric scooter was launched in 2021 and after a bunch of upgrades and updated features, not to mention the multiple delays, deliveries of the e-scooter will be commencing in the coming weeks.
