Yamaha FZ-S and Fazer Festive Season Editions Launched

Yamaha Motor has launched the limited festive season edition of its most popular bikes Yamaha Fazer and FZ series. It seems as if Yamaha doesn't want to lose the opportunity to take festive season advantage, as they know that the Indian buyers like to purchase vehicles mostly during this time. The limited edition Fazer and FZ-S got the cosmetic treatment, which includes new stickers and paint work all over the body. The 2012 Yamaha  FZ-S Limited Edition model costs Rs. 73,000, while the Limited Edition Fazer priced Rs. 78,130 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

The bikes have received the cosmetic updates and engines of the bikes have been remained same.  The 153cc, air cooled-single cylinder four stroke engine does the duty in both the bikes, which produces a peak power output of 14 PS with a peak torque of 13.6 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The cosmetic updates of the bikes includes

·         Purple and silver dual tone paint job

·         Purple heat shield on the exhaust muffler

·         Purple finish for the grab rails

·         Yamaha logo on front fork

·         Limited Edition badging

The purple styling of the bikes is not so common; however we can see the perfect black styling in Pulsar Series bikes. The Yamaha bike has always been renowned for their superb build quality and performance; both these bikes have also been famous for the same. Yamaha has enough three 150cc bikes, which includes Yamaha R15, Fazer and FZ, however the Japanese bike hasn’t have any bike to fill the space in between Yamaha R15 and Yamaha R1. Recently, we published speculations about the Yamaha YZF-R25, if the same happens Yamaha certainly will get a stronger contender in 200cc and above segment. For now, the limited edition Fazer and FZ surely help Yamaha to lure more buyers in the ongoing festive season along with newly launched Yamaha Ray.
