The new Matrix Resurrections teaser hints that Yezdi’s comeback is around the corner
Yezdi Motorcycles has yet again teased its comeback, this time using the famous Matrix visuals to announce the resurrection of the ‘Roadking’ moniker. We have already seen the upcoming Roadking Scrambler in a bunch of spy shots, so the bike’s global debut should be just around the corner.
The Classic Legends-owned company will soon send invites for the big event, and has already started registrations via its website. This further lends credence to the rumour that the new Yezdi Roadking Scrambler could make its first public appearance as early as January 2022. Yezdi Motorcycles is also likely to introduce its Royal Enfield Himalayan-rivalling ADV at the same event, and commence sales later.

The Yezdi Roadking Scrambler will utilise the same 293cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from the Jawa, producing 27.33PS and 27.02Nm. However, Yezdi may choose to tune it differently to suit the Scrambler’s intended purpose.
To complete the scrambler persona, Yezdi’s new bike will feature wire-spoke rims shod with dual-purpose tyres, high-mounted fenders, ribbed seat, knuckleguards and a wide handlebar with a brace.
The Yezdi Roadking Scrambler is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 1.75 lakh, and will go up against the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250. Meanwhile, the Yezdi Adventure could be priced between Rs 1.90 lakh to Rs 2 lakh, which would make it up to Rs 20,000 more affordable than the Himalayan. And with the Royal Enfield Scram 411 on the way, buyers will be definitely left spoilt for choice in this segment.
