Zelio X Men Low Speed Electric Scooter Launched At Rs 64,543

The scooter is available in five variants with different battery configurations. The claimed range output starts from 55km in the base variant and goes up to 80km in the top-end variant

Haryana-based EV maker, Zelio Ebikes has launched the X Men low speed electric scooter at prices starting from Rs 64,543 (ex-showroom). It is available in five variants with different battery configurations: 1.92kWh, 2.3kWh, 2.736kWh, 2.28kWh (all lead acid) and 1.92kWh (lithium-ion). The scooters are available in four colour options: Black, White, Sea Green and Red. 

Zelio Ebikes haven’t announced the prices of the 2.736kWh and 2.28kWh lead acid battery variants yet. Here are the prices of the other three variants:

The 1.92kWh (lead acid) variant gets a claimed range of 55-60km and a charging time of 7-8 hours while the 2.3kWh (lead acid) variant gets a claimed range of 70km and a charging time of 7-9 hours. The top-end variant with the 1.9kWh capacity lithium-ion battery pack gets a claimed range of 80km and a charging time of 4 hours. Being low-speed scooters, the top speed is likely to be limited to 25kmph.

The Zelio X Men scooters’ suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. They get 90-section tyres at both ends with a 12-inch front wheel and a 10-inch rear wheel. The scooters have a gross weight of 80kg while the payload capacity stands at 180kg. 

In terms of features, the scooters get a digital instrument console, reverse mode, USB charging port and an anti-theft alarm. The Zelio X Men rivals the likes of the Joy e-bike Wolf, Hero Electric Atria, Okinawa R30 and the Ampere Reo Li Plus.
