We recently had a chance to ride the 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 and here’s what we think about it. For a brief overview of the same, check out our review in images here. Here’s what we liked and disliked about the bike.
What is the price of the 2024 TVS Apache RR 310?
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 starts from Rs 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes up to Rs 2.97 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). There are two optional BTO kits that add fully adjustable suspension, a 6-axis IMU, cornering traction control, etc .
What are the variants of the TVS Apache RR 310?
The TVS Apache RR 310 is available in three variants: Racing Red (Without quickshifter), Racing Red (With quickshifter) and Bomber Grey. Priced at Rs 2.75 lakh, Rs 2.92 lakh and Rs 2.97 lakh respectively. The Race Replica colour will additionally cost you Rs 7,000. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The Racing Red(Without quickshifter) is the base model and gets a red paint scheme without the bi-directional quickshifter. The Racing Red (With quickshifter) gets the same red paint scheme with the bi-directional quickshifter as the mid-level variant.
The Bomber Grey top-spec variant gets a new grey paint scheme with a red coloured subframe and comes with the bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
Is The TVS Apache RR310 a powerful bike?
Yes, the TVS Apache RR 310 is a powerful bike as it gets a 312.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It gets 4 riding modes that affect the performance. In Sport and Track mode, it produces 38PS @ 9800rpm and 29Nm @ 7900rpm. The power and torque go a bit down to 25.8PS and 25Nm in Urban and Rain modes. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and an optional bi-directional quickshifter.
What is the mileage of the TVS Apache RR 310?
We tested the older version of the Apache RR 310 and the bike returned a mileage of 33.1kmpl in the city and 34.45kmpl on the highway. If ridden carefully enough, you can cover 330 to 350 km on a full tank which is a pretty good range considering the bike only has a 11 litre fuel tank capacity.
What features does the TVS Apache RR310 get?
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 is packed with features. It comes with a 5-inch vertical colour TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity with call and SMS notifications and turn-by-turn navigation. The console also provides ride-related data including post-ride analysis, a gear shift indicator, updates on vehicle health, status reports, engine temperature and rev limit that changes as per your riding style. It also has a dual trip meter, an overspeed warning, and can store important documents.
It also gets TVS' Glide Through Technology Plus (GTT+) offers low-rpm assistance, which makes it easier to navigate in heavy traffic by just using the clutch and no throttle.
You can also choose from two optional customisation kits: the Dynamic Kit (Rs 18,000) and the Dynamic Pro Kit (Rs 16,000).
The Dynamic Kit includes a fully adjustable suspension and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) at both the front and rear. The adjustable inverted fork allows for 20-step compression and rebound damping, and 15 steps of preload adjustability. The rear monoshock comes with a 10-step preload adjustability and 20-step rebound adjustability. The kit also includes an anti-rust brass-coated drive chain.
The Dynamic Pro Kit adds a 6-axis IMU, cornering traction control, cruise control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, slope dependent control and rear lift off control.
What are the rivals of the TVS Apache RR 310?
TVS Apache RR 310's main rivals are the KTM RC 390 and BMW G 310 RR. If you don't like the committed seating position of the Apache RR 310, you can opt for its more feature-packed naked sibling, the TVS Apache RTR 310. The Ultraviolette F77 also rivals the new Apache RR 310.
Is the TVS Apache RR310 worth Buying?
The TVS Apache RR 310 is a versatile bike that serves equally well for daily trips, weekend outings, demanding track days in places like Chennai or Coimbatore, or even long distance travels. The updates have made it a much better bike overall, and is among the best choices in the 300cc segment for riders looking for a great all-rounder.

Apache 310 Expert Review
Overview
The TVS Apache RR 310 was first launched in India in 2017. The bike was then updated regularly during these years. In its latest version, the RR 310 is more powerful, feature-packed and looks better than it ever has. So here is all that you need to know about TVS’ most expensive bike in India.
Design
The TVS Apache RR 310 has always been a good-looking bike and for 2024, it looks better than it ever has. The winglets, transparent clutch cover and the overall sportsbike design, they all make the bike look very aggressive and it will grab a lot of attention. In fact, the RR 310 is the best-looking bike in its segment.
Engine, Mileage & Performance
The RR 310’s 312.2cc liquid-cooled engine makes 38PS at 9800rpm in the Sport and Track modes, and 30PS at 7600rpm in the Urban and Rain modes. As for the torque, it makes 29Nm at 7900rpm in Sport and Track modes and 26.5Nm at 6700rpm in Urban and Rain modes. While it is more powerful than before, the power delivery is still very linear and even beginner riders will find the bike very sporty. The best thing is that the vibration levels are a lot better than before and the RR 310 is a lot smoother than the Apache RTR 310, despite being more powerful.
The only downside is that slightly more experienced riders might find the bike’s power delivery a bit too linear and not exciting enough, especially when compared to something like the KTM RC 390.
Handling & Ride Quality
The RR 310’s highlight is undoubtedly its handling. It feels very easy to flick the bike around and tip it into corners and beginner riders will have a lot of fun when cornering it. What will add to the fun is the excellent quickshifter. You don’t need to use the clutch at all, unless you’re coming to a complete stop.
As for the ride quality, the RR 310 has always been a relatively comfortable sportsbike and we expect the new bike to be the same in that regard.
Comfort
By sportsbike standards, the RR 310 is relatively comfortable. The handlebar is reasonably set and isn’t too low, meaning your upper body will be quite upright. The footpegs are also on the lower side, meaning even taller riders’ legs will not feel cramped. So it is a sportsbike that you can use everyday.
Those who want a more aggressive, sporty riding posture can opt for TVS’ BTO (Built To Order) kit, which offers rearset footpegs and a lower handlebar.
Features
The RR 310 is the most feature-packed bike in its segment. All-LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, call & SMS alerts, auto-replies for SMS, ride statistics, 4 riding modes (Track, Sport, Urban and Rain), digital documents’ storage, and a lot more, the vertical TFT has pretty much everything you can think of. For 2024, it also received a 6-axis IMU with cornering traction control, cruise control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, slope dependent control and rear lift off control. These are not only features to brag about but also add an extra layer of safety. The traction control on the new RR 310 worked quite well and so did the cornering cruise control, which will essentially reduce your cruising speeds automatically, when the bike senses that it's been leaned over.
Should you buy
The TVS Apache RR 310 makes for a good beginner sportsbike. It looks good, has a lot of features and is quite easy to ride. Its only issue is its price.

For the base variant itself, you have to shell out Rs 2.75 lakh, for which you don’t even get a quickshifter as standard. Even the Bomber Grey color scheme costs an additional Rs 17,000. If you add the other kits, here’s how much they cost:

Most features we talked about earlier are a part of these packs. Adding all of these kits up up, the final cost is Rs 3.31 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), which is a fair bit more than the KTM RC 390 (Rs 3,21,173, ex-showroom Delhi), a bike that has more power, is more exciting and in its latest iteration, a lot easier to ride than before.
