2015 Ducati Hypermotard SP unvieled with all new Ducati Safety pack

One of the finest Italian motorcycle makers- Ducati unveiled 2015 model of the Hypermotard SP at the World Ducati Week in Misano. The launch event witnessed by the 2011 WSBK champion- Carlos Checa and the three-time World Superbike (WSBK) champion- Troy Bayliss. Apart from the vast mechanical upgradation, the bike receives a new Corse livery with Red and White paint scheme.
Propelling the 2015 Ducati Hypermotard SP is the same 821cc Testrastetta motor, which powers the current model with a maximum power of 110bhp. However, now it gets advanced multi-map structure, inspired by the 1199 Panigale S. Featuring ride modes of the bike are- Race (110bhp), Sport (110bhp) and Wet (75bhp).
The upgraded Hypermotard SP also gets the all new Ducati Safety pack as an standard equipment. It features a 3-level ABS and an 8-level traction control system for best-in-class safety. Bolted on the existing space trellis frame, it features an increased suspension travel compared to the standard model.
Ducati Hypermotard comes with 50mm, fully adjustable Marzocchi inverted forks at the front with a travel of 185mm. The rear gets Ohlins mono-shock, powered by a built-in “gas” tank with a single sided swing-arm, providing 175mm travel.
The bike features 17” Marchesini three-spoke alloys with 120/70 and 180/55 Piralli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres at the front and rear respectively. The 2015 Ducati Hypermotard SP will be available on the dealerships by September this year at a price similar to the existing model for $14,995 ( Approx 9.03 lakh INR according to the current exchange rates).
