Ducati has unveiled a special Panigale V4 in the Tricolore livery featuring the Italian flag. This special Panigale V4 is a tribute to the brand’s Italian heritage and rich history. Its livery is inspired by the 1984 Ducati 750 F1 bike, which was made 40 years ago. But it is available in a limited number. Moreover, the changes aren’t just limited to the bike’s appearance, it gets mechanical updates as well.
What Does It Get?
The Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore features an asymmetrical paint job designed by artist Aldo Drudi along with the Centro Stile Ducati, which looks beautiful on the bike. It comes with a red livery on the top left, including the fairing, fuel tank and tail section. It features a green livery on the right side and a white colour in the middle. The bike also features a chequered flag at the bottom of the fairing on either side. You can also customize the number decal on the front and side fairings. This new livery looks stunning and might be the best-looking Panigale ever.
Mechanical changes on the bike include adjustable aluminium footpegs, a racing aluminium tank cap, a dry clutch which also enhances the bike’s visual appeal, and Ducati’s two-finned Brembo T-Drive racing brakes with twin 338.5mm front discs from the Ducati WorldSBK racing bikes, which are the largest discs ever in a production bike. The Panigale V4 Tricolore also gets five-spoke carbon-fibre rims making the bike 950g lighter than before and making it more nimble and agile in the process. The bike weighs 188kg, which is just 1kg more than the Panigale V4 S.
Like all collector edition Ducati bikes, each Panigale V4 Tricolore features a steering plate made from solid machined aluminium, engraved with the model’s name and its unique unit number out of 1,000. Ducati is also offering a matching helmet, riding jacket and a race suit, which customers can buy separately.
The Ducati Panigale V4 is powered by a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine that produces a whopping 216PS at 13,500rpm and 120.9Nm at 11,250rpm.
Expected India Launch
Currently, we have no details of the bike coming to the Indian market. However, this limited edition collector’s Panigale V4 can be purchased if you reach out to Ducati. Of course that will require additional expenses of transport, import and legal fees etc.
