Ducati 899 Panigale Spied in Italy

After the huge success of 2013 Panigale 1199, rumours started coming in about the launch of Ducati 899 Panigale. Since than, motorcycle enthusiasts around the world have been waiting for a peep of the 899cc version of Ducati Panigale. Finally, an Italian online bike magazine succeeded in taking a spy picture of the bike in Lecco, northern Italy. The bike might be a test vehicle, because the signature of displacement on the side cowl was covered by red adhesive tape. Ducati is likely to use their all-new 821cc, liquid cooled V-Twin engine, which also powers  2013 Ducati Hypermotard SP.

The bike is expected to deliver a power of 150bhp with this new superquadro engine. The bike will be equipped with several attractive features, as shown in the picture like attractive full body fairing similar to the Panigale 1199, new dual side banana swingarm, Dual disk brakes of approx 305mm dia at the front wheels and approx 224mm disk brake on the rear wheel. The bike will be equipped with all the safety technologies like- ABS, Ducati Traction Control and others. The bike is supposed to be using electronically adjustable suspension, also used in the Panigale 1199. The bike is expected to be launched in Italy, next year at an expected price of around 11 lakh.
