Ducati plans to launch their next generation superbike Ducati 1199 Panigale in India

World famous sports bike manufacturer Ducati is planning to launch their Ducati 1199 Panigale in India. But the exact date of the launch in India is not known yet. Ducati 1199 Panigale will be known as next generation bike from Ducati. This next generation superbike will be revealed at Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori [EICMA] international motorcycle show which is to be held at Milan, later this year in November. Ducati 1199 Panigale has broken the tradition of Ducati by including a name to its 1199cc engine capacity. Ducati 1199 Panigale will be seen in action at 2012 FIM Superstock Championship, this superbike will also debut in World Superbike Championship in 2013. If we look at the engine specification of this superbike, it has an engine displacement of 1199cc, with L-twin cylinder. The engine has the maximum power of 195 BHP with 10750 rpm, the maximum torque exerted by this next generation machine is 132Nm at 9000 rpm.

This Ducati bike is fitted with 6 gear box with self- servo wet multiplate clutch. Ducati 1199 Panigale is fitted with liquid cooled engine, and 17 liters capacity fuel tank. The bike weighs 188 kilograms. If we look at other specifications, in the front this bike is fitted with Marzochhi 50mm pressurized suspension and on the rear this bike is fitted with fully adjustable Sachs unit. If we look at the breaking system, Ducati 1199 Panigale is fitted with 2 X 330mm semi floating discs to the front wheel, and on the rear end the superbike is fitted with 245mm disc and 2 piston caliper. For additional safety this bike is fitted with stand alarm which beeps if the driver forgets to push back side stand. Apart from these specifications this bike also features many more additional features. Ducati 1199 Panigale very much looks like Ducati 1198, which was launched in 2007 and later was again relaunched with some modifications.
