The Italian manufacturer of two wheel monsters, Ducati is all set to roll out its new and more advanced track machine 1199 Superleggera. And the company has now teased some pictures of the much anticipated bike, showing its fiber casted parts and the upper profile. However, an online motorbike news website managed to capture the first clear picture of the final production version of the 2014 Ducati 1199 Superleggra, during a dealer's meeting of the company in New Orleans.
The bike has been made using some extra light materials like magnesium, titanium and carbon fibre. The suspension system of the bike has been manufactured by Ohlins, while the braking system has been modified by Brembo. Carbon fiber made body panels are now ultra light, strong and are painted in Dual Rosso Corsa and white shade.
Its carbon/titanium exhaust is also very light in weight compared to a regular tail pipe. All these changes will cut around 40 lbs from this amazing beast, when compared to the 1199 Panigale.
Ducati will build only 500 units of the bike worldwide and is expected to price it around $65,000 in US and around €60,000 in Europe.
