Hero will hope to utilise the learnings and leverage Ather’s skill set for the upcoming Hero Vida e-scooter
Brighter days ahead for Ather Energy as the company has secured a new investment of Rs 420 crore from the world's largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp.
With this, Hero's stake in Ather Energy will expand further from the existing 34.8 percent.

This bodes well for Hero MotoCorp, which is working on its first electric vehicle. The e-scooter was recently trademarked and is scheduled to be launched by March this year. It'll be produced at its manufacturing facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
We reckon the scooter, or in fact, the new electric division will be called 'Vida'.
Ather recently revised the 450X and the 450 Plus' prices across various cities in India to offset the rising input and logistic costs. Here are the latest prices.
