Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India today launched the awaited CBR650F in India at the Revfest. The company also showcased its upcoming motorcycle- CB Hornet 160R, and introduced new colour schemes for the existing CBR150R and CBR250R.
Along with these updates to its fleet of motorcycles, the company announced that it has entered into a partnership with premium Italian denim brand GAS, extending its international association to India. As the official style partner, GAS showcased its Autumn/Winter 2015-16 collection at the Revfest platform through a slick fashion-show which culminated with Honda brand Ambassador and Action King of Bollywood - Akshay Kumar making a show-stopper presence at the end. Let's have a look on the new Honda Products.
Honda CBR650F: The much anticipated mid-weight performance bike finally launched today with a price tag of Rs. 7.3 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The supersport styled motorcycle is powered by a highly advanced 650cc, liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder engine, which churns out 85.8bhp of maximum power at 11,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and delivers torque up to 63Nm at 8,000rpm, using a PGM-FI system. It is also announced that the CBR650F will be Honda's 'Make-in-India' premium motorcycle.
Honda CB Hornet 160R: The most amazing surprise of the event was the global premier of a new premium motorcycle for masses- CB Hornet 160R. Styled like a streetfighter, the Hornet is based on the new CB Unicorn 160. It retains the same 160cc, air-cooled engine along with the other features of the motorcycle. However, there are some good changes in the upcoming motorcycle like new sportier alloys and meatier tyres. It is expected to arrive in the market by this festive season at a price of around Rs. 76,000.
New Honda CBR150R: The existing Honda CBR150R received new paint schemes with more exciting graphics. Now, the bike will be available in three new and more exciting colour options retaining all the specifications and features of the existing model.
New Honda CBR250R: Like the CBR150R, its elder sibling- Honda CBR250R has also received the similar update. The company has introduced three new colours for the bike along with the new graphic pattern. There is not any change in the specs and features of the bike.
Apart from these big updates, Honda also showcased the HRC (Honda Racing Company) made RC213V (MotoGP) bike and the recently launched 110cc motorcycle- Livo at the Revfest.
