Kymco sells an all-electric variant of the Like 125, called the Like EV in international markets. It remains to be seen if the company will be introducing it to India anytime soon. Coming back to the scooter, it sports a clean neo-retro design and a host of top-shelf features. These include a fully-digital instrument console with navigation and LED headlamps.
Powering the Like 125 is the 124.8cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine which makes 11.55PS of power and 10.4Nm of torque.

Coming back to the Like EV, it packs a brushless DC motor which puts out 3.2kW of power. As mentioned earlier, powering the electric motor will be two lithium-ion batteries: a ‘core’ (50V/10.5Ah) and the other ‘removable’ (50V/13Ah).
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a single-sided swingarm at the rear. Braking hardware consists of a disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The e-scooter tips the scale at 110kg.
We will soon be riding the Like EV along with the 2019 Flow and the X-Town 300i maxi-scooter soon. Stay tuned to BikeDekho for our initial impressions report.
