More Features For The Ather 450X Incoming!

Rather than bringing features that make the brochure fatter, Ather is aiming towards usable ones

The Ather 450X, an already feature-rich scooter is all set to get a whole bunch of new additions. And no, it will not have loud faux noises coming out of it and neither will it allow you to blare music. Ather is, in fact, aiming towards features that are a lot more usable in the real world. 

First on the list is making the ride statistics a lot more comprehensive. Instead of the usual ride by ride stats, the app will now show you more about your riding style from the past week. Bits like the top speed on each day, the longest ride and even distance covered on each day of the week will now appear on the home screen. Other interesting data like the amount of fuel and CO2 saved too, will be shown on the Ather app’s home screen. While the app showed these things earlier too, you had to scroll through the app for them. We’ve attached screenshots of the app below for your reference.

Another very practical addition is that instead of just two, Ather will now allow you to save multiple addresses. You can even save the location of your favourite fast chargers to ensure that the process of reaching them is that much easier. Finally, Ather will allow you to track your entire service history. This should be particularly helpful in the long run as it’d give you a clearer idea on how the longevity of the parts. Ather says that these changes are in the beta stage as of now and should officially make their way to the Ather app in a couple of weeks. 

Just say these nifty features should go a long way in making the overall ownership experience hasslefree. We are eagerly waiting for these bits to make their way onto our long-termer and test them out.
