TVS Motors India is going to launch its TVS Max 4R model in India. It had already phased out Max brand due to then Bharat Stage II emission norms, because that time it was not capable to meet BS-II norms. The company is all set to launch again its 110cc motorcycle in the market. New and upgraded model is inspired from the company's popular model TVS Jive. It will be equipped with 4-stroke engine. New TVS Max 4R is expected to be priced at Rs. 35,000. Before five years ago, it was giving a wonderful performance in the low end motorcycle segment. The latest emission norms BS-III has already came into effect and the company is preparing for its upgraded model as per new norms. Other leading companies like Hero Honda, Bajaj are also selling bikes in rural India. While Hero Honda has also launched models like Hero Honda CD Dawn and Hero Honda CD Deluxe. One of the major features about low end rural motorcycles that they can stand over-loading weight and deliver a good pick-up. On the other hand, TVS Motors has recently launched its TVS Wego in the gearless scooter segment. Besides, Yamaha motor is also going to introduce its premium bike YZF R125 in India.
