TVS Motor Sales Increase In November 2024

The Hosur based bike maker saw a massive boost in the e-scooter segment
TVS Motor Company enjoyed a surge in sales numbers for its two-wheeler sales in the month of November 2024. As compared to the same month last year, there was an overall increase of 12% in the domestic market sales figures.
In addition to the 12% increase, TVS motorcycle sales also experienced a 6% increase last month. Out of the total 3,92,473 units sold in all, 1,80,247 of those were motorcycles, with the remainder being scooters. Scooter sales also saw a significant 22% rise, growing from 1,35,749 units in November 2023 to 1,65,535 units in November 2024. This boost was mainly contributed to by the recently launched all new 2nd-gen TVS Jupiter 110.
Most impressive was the iQube, TVS' electric scooter, which saw a remarkable 57% surge in sales. The iQube’s sales jumped from 16,782 units in November 2023 to 26,292 units in November 2024. This made it the second best selling electric scooter last month.
TVS' exports also saw strong growth, with a 25% increase in total. The company exported 34% more two-wheelers, rising from 65,086 units in November 2023 to 87,150 units in November 2024. TVS currently exports to 80 countries, having a major presence in the African and South American continents. They also export to many Asian and a few Middle Eastern countries.
Overall, the company sold a total of 3,92,473 units, across both domestic and international markets in the last month, up from 3,52,103 units in November 2023. TVS has reported promising results for November 2024, showing growth compared to the previous year. The company saw an increase in both its electric vehicle and international sales, indicating a rise in demand for their products.
