TVS Motors aims to sale 20-lakh units in FY11

TVS Motors In India, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturer, aims to sale 20-lakh bikes in the next fiscal. The company's setting a target to get a top level of most bikes company in India by increasing sales. TVS Motor hopes to sell twenty lakh motorcycles in 2010-11, as against 38 percent more over the current financial year. TVS Motor Company Head (Motorcycle) Arun Siddharth said," we are believing good response from the new products including TVS Jive(auto-clutch bike), which has recently launched in the Indian auto market. The company has already declared of Jive availability across India. In southern states, it was launched its auto-clutch TVS Jive a few month ago and the sales response has been beyond expectation. TVS Motor is targeting to sell over 14.5-lakh two-wheelers in 2009-10. The company hopes the newly launched 'TVS jive' will give a boost to sales by over 2.4 lakh units sales in 2010-11, "Mr.Saddharth said. TVS Motor also intends to offer new vehicles in the next financial year, upgrading some existing models and popular bikes as well. TVS Jive 110cc engine is advanced with T-matic technology and rotary gear coupled with an automatic clutch option. The new bike provides a sporty riding experience with an unique combination of performance, comfortableness and fuel capacity in its category. India's first clutchless TVS Jive is priced at Rs. 42,235 (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). Meanwhile, Royal Enfield has launched its new Bullet Electra with a new advanced feature 'Twinspark'. On the other hand, Harley-Davidson sportster is upcoming motorcycle, which will be launched soon in India.
