TVS Motors launched its TVS Jive in Kerala

After introducing TVS Jive in some states like Adhara Pradesh, Gujarat, Bangalore and Chandigarh, TVS Motors has recently rolled out its TVS Jive in Kerala. India's third largest two-wheeler manufacturer sets a target of selling 2.4 lakh units a year. The company has filed patent for its auto clutch technology 'Tnmatic'. J S Srinivasan, General Manager, Marketing, South Zone, TVS Motor said, 110cc TVS Jive's one of the advanced feature is absence of a clutch lever. Indian customers now riding hands-free shift experience, he said. TVS Jive is available at Rs. 41,000 (ex-showroom price by New Delhi). In Kerala price would be at Rs. 41,735 (ex-showroom). This bike's another unique feature is anti-stall mechanism, which delivers smooth riding likely at low speeds without stopping the engine in high gears. TVS Jive is equipped with four-stroke engine that delivers 8.1 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm. TVS Motor has also added a special feature as lockable under seat storage facility. TVS Jive is available in various colours option - Black, Red and Blue. Indian government's excise duty has increased auto prices, Srinivasan said TVS Motor has also hiked its prices by 2 percent across all categories. On the other hand, BMW K 1300s is also going to be introduced in the Indian auto market.
