The TVS Ntorq 125 is a 125cc sporty scooter offering from the Chennai-based manufacturer. With prices starting at Rs 84,636 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Ntorq 125 is available in six variants: Drum, Disc, Race Edition, Super Squad Edition, Race XP and top-of-the-line Race XT.

TVS Ntorq 125 Drum

As the name suggests the TVS Ntorq 125 drum features 130mm drum brakes on both ends, with CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard. Being the base variant, it comes with halogen headlights. The scooter is powered by a 124.8cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 9.38PS and 10.6Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in just 8.9 seconds. 

 The Ntorq 125 comes loaded with features. It gets an LCD console that displays a speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, engine temperature, a lap timer and a clock. The Ntorq also gets smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth with call/SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, phone battery and signal strength indicators, last-parked location assistance, voice assistance and an exclusive rider's app. It also comes with Street and Sports display modes.

Moreover, there is a 20-litre underseat storage with a boot light and a USB charger which is also located in the boot. It gets an external fuel filler cap.

Built on an underbone tubular frame, the TVS Ntorq 125 is equipped with a telescopic fork and a rear monoshock. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres. It comes with a 155mm ground clearance and gets a kerb weight of 111kg.

The TVS Ntorq 125 disc variant costs Rs 4,455 more than the drum variants and comes with a 220mm petal disc brake at the front. The rear gets the same 130mm drum brake, with CBS as standard. The rest of the specifications including the engine, features and underpinnings are the same as the drum variant.

The Ntorq 125 Race Edition costs just Rs 550 more than the disc variant and gets an LED headlight with LED DRLs (daytime running lights) and a tail light. It comes with exclusive race edition liveries: Race Edition Red and Race Edition Marine Blue.

The Ntorq 125 Super Squad Edition is for fans of the Marvel Comics movies as it comes with four colours in Avenger-themed liveries. The Amazing Red is based on Spiderman-themed graphics, Lightning Gray is for Thor fans, Combat Blue features a Captain America-inspired livery, and Stealth Black is a tribute to Black Panther. All four colours priced are at 95,191, making it Rs 6,100 more expensive than the Race Edition.

The Race XP is the most powerful variant of the Ntorq for those who want that extra punch. Though it gets the same 124.8cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the other variants, it produces 10.2PS and 10.9Nm (0.82PS and 0.3Nm more). The Race XP comes with two riding modes: Street and Race. It reaches 0 to 60kmph in just 8.3 seconds, which is 0.6 seconds quicker than other variants.

TVS Ntorq 125 Variants Explained

The TVS Ntorq 125 XT is the top-of-the-line variant from the Ntorq range and comes in a unique Neon paint scheme. While it isn’t as performance-packed as the Race XP, the Ntorq 125 XT is the most feature-rich variant, perfect if you are a tech enthusiast.

The XT variant has a TFT display with two screens. Along with the standard features, it comes with turn-by-turn navigation and even displays social media, food delivery, and e-commerce app notifications on the screen. It even goes beyond this with 'Live Cricket Scores' on the go for all the cricket fans.
