To get new colours and possibly, mechanical updates too!
TVS has teased a new variant of its popular 125cc scooter, the NTorq 125, likely to be called ‘XT’. The upcoming variant of the 125cc scooter will likely be launched next week and priced around Rs 92,000 - 93,000 (ex-showroom), commanding a premium of Rs 3,000 - 4,000 over the current top-spec Race XP variant.
The NTorq 125 has been a go-to product for anybody who wants a sporty 125cc scooter with multiple variants, colours and top-of-the-line features. The two-wheeler, is all set to become more attractive with the introduction of the new XT variant.
To begin with, the NTorq XT trim will retain the same design as the other variants. However, it will get new paint schemes and graphics to set itself apart. From the picture teased on social media, we can also see new black alloys that look quite sporty and attractive.
It is possible that there will be a few mechanical changes on the upcoming XT variant of the TVS NTorq 125. It should, however, be propelled by the same 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The current Race XP variant churns out 10.2PS and 10.8Nm.

In terms of features, the scooter already gets several segment-first goodies including a fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation; ride modes and a USB charging socket. It is less likely that there would be more features added to the new XT variant, albeit not impossible.
Currently, the NTorq 125 is available in four variants. The base model costs Rs 77,106, the Race edition is priced at Rs 85,161, the Super Squad edition at Rs 87,661, and finally, the Race XP variant comes in at 89,211.
