The Jio-bp Pulse will even have charging and swap stations for the iQube Electric and other two- and three-wheeled EVs

TVS Motor Company has announced its partnership with Jio-bp to develop charging infrastructure for two- and three-wheelers. With this alliance, Jio-bp Pulse (the sub-brand that will handle EV charging) stations will also have charging facilities for the iQube along with upcoming EVs from other brands as well.

The companies will develop a regular AC charging and DC fast-charging network for both, two and three-wheelers. TVS has also revealed that it is building a new portfolio of EVs (two- and three-wheelers) in the range of 5-25kW, and intends to launch them in the market over the next two years.

TVS has been working on a B2B electric scooter which was spotted testing earlier this year. Besides, the Hosur-based bikemaker also announced its partnership with Convergence Energy Services Ltd. (CESL) last year, under which it will develop and expand charging infrastructure for the TVS iQube Electric. If you have been contemplating buying one, here's how the TVS iQube Electric price stands today.

TVS joins the likes of Honda, that has partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Hero MotoCorp, which inked a deal with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to establish a wide EV charging network across the country. And thanks to the government’s enthusiastic approach towards battery-swapping, swap stations will soon become a regular sight, and the readily available charging infrastructure will surely boost EV adoption as well.
