- The TVS Radeon BS6 was launched in April 2020.
- It is now dearer by Rs 750 across all the variants.
- Apart from the increase in price, there have been no other changes.
The prices of the TVS Radeon BS6 and its variants have been increased. This is the first price hike for the commuter motorcycle since its launch in April 2020. Fortunately, at just Rs 750 across all the three variants, the price premium isn’t all that much. Here’s a latest price list along with the difference compared to the launch price:
When the TVS Radeon was launched, it was about Rs 6,600 to Rs 8,600 more expensive than its corresponding BS4-compliant variant. You can read all about it here. The BS6-compliant TVS Radeon features a fuel-injected engine that is claimed to offer 15 per cent more mileage than before. That’s an impressive claim considering the BS4-compliant TVS Radeon has been one of the most fuel-efficient bikes we’ve ever tested. The claimed mileage for the BS4 bike is 63.97kmpl, but we managed to extract over 100kmpl with careful throttle inputs. You can read more about our real-world mileage test here.
The BS6-compliant motor churns out 8.19PS at 7350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4500rpm compared to 8.4PS at 7000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5000rpm in the BS4 compliant version. Because of the additional emission controlling equipment, the kerb weight of the bike has been increased by 4kg, at 116kg kerb.
