The TVS Radeon now comes with a special edition variant. It gets a lot of cosmetic as well as safety features over the standard model. We take a look at what makes this new variant so special when compared to the standard variant.

It gets new colour options:
While the standard Radeon gets six single-tone colours, the special edition Radeon gets two unique colours: Chrome Black and Chrome Brown. The new colours have a glossier finish and look more premium than the standard variants colours. Complementing the new colour are new graphic stickers on the fuel tank and side panels.

It gets new body cladding:
The special edition variants get a new tank pad design. It also gets a rubber cushion that runs over the fuel tank. This cushion gets an ‘R’ Emblem on top.

It gets lots of chrome:
The special edition variant gets chrome accents in the form of chrome mirrors and a chrome carburettor cover. This adds to the chrome headlamp trim, chrome exhaust cover and chrome rear grabrail the Radeon previously came with. It also gets metal finished brake and clutch levers.

It gets a new seat:
The special edition motorcycle gets a new seat cover. It gets a quilted cross-stitched pattern for more comfort and premium looks.
It gets a disc brake:
The special edition variant gets a disc and drum brake option. The addition of a front disc with CBS adds to the safety quotient of the motorcycle.
It is priced at a premium:
The special edition Radeon is priced at Rs Rs 52,720 (drum) and Rs 54,820 (disc, ex-showroom Delhi). This is Rs 2,000 and Rs 4,000 more than the standard Radeon. The additional pricing gets you a better looking as well as a safer motorcycle.
