2016 to bring a lot of surprises for Honda fans

2016 might be a surprising year for all the Honda fans as the company is planning to bring its updated models. With its new entry CB Hornet 160R, the company has confirmed to launch a surprise at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo to be held in February. No further detail has been revealed by the company, but it's expected that the upcoming machines could be the CBR300R or PCX150 scooter.

CBR300R has already entered the global market in 2013 and the India launch is much awaited by the fans. The bike is inspired by the styling of its older sibling CBR1000R. The company hasn't given any confirmation on its arrival yet. Along with the styling, the CBR300R would have an improved power output and lighter kerb weight, originally seen in CBR1000R.

The Honda CBR300R has a 286cc engine that produces a maximum power of 30.4bhp and a peak torque of 27Nm. Mated with 6-speed transmission the bike’s kerb is lowered by 6.8 kgs. This new machine might bring the company back in business. The company could bring the model followed by the launch of CBR150R facelift.

The other two wheeler Honda might bring in the market is the PCX150 scooter, which is on sale in the international market till now. Talking about the scooter segment in the country, Honda is already performing good in this category and this upcoming model might come up as another gem for the Japanese manufacturer.
