The popular quarter-litre sportbike in India- Honda CBR 250R gets a new, refreshing paint scheme to allure buyers during this festive season. The bike has received a sportier graphic pattern, which is available with three colour options- Black, Pearl Amazing White and Sports Red. According to the company’s official website, now there are just two variants of the motorcycle are on sale, the CBR 250RA STD at Rs. 1.60 lac and the CBR 250RAD ABS at Rs. 1.89 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The entry-level performance motorcycle - Honda CBR 250R features a sporty full-body fairing, futuristic meter console, split-seat, comfortable ergonomics, wide tyres, pro-link rear suspension, racing muffler, Liquid-cooled engine with Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI), optional Combined - Antilock Braking System (C-ABS) and much more.
The CBR 250R sports a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine, which comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. Using a fuel injection system, it makes a maximum power of 26.15bhp at 8,500rpm and delivers a peak torque up to 22.9Nm at 7,000rpm. With a kerb weight of 163kg, it claims a top speed of 145kmph.
Assembled on a diamond type frame, the CBR 250R comes with telescopic front forks and a pro-link type monoshock at the rear. It has stylish 5-spoke alloy wheels with 110/70 section front and 140/70 section rear tubeless tyre. The bike has a dual disc brake system along with Combined Anti-Lock Braking System as an optional feature for an additional cost.
