Being one of the youngest players in the two-wheeler market, Honda has successfully become the second largest two-wheeler manufacturer of the country. Despite the success of its highly popular models - Activa and Shine, the company has seen the downfall of some of its motorcycles. In 2015 itself, the company has introduced 15 vehicles and are expected to bring at least 14 updates in its two-wheeler range during 2016. This year Honda Activa reached a new milestone by selling more than 10 million units while CB Shine became the highest selling 125cc motorcycle ever introduced in the country. At the same time, the company also had to discontinue some of its motorcycles, which were not giving it expected outcomes. Let’s find out what all bikes were discontinued by Honda during 2015.

Honda CB Twister was replaced by Livo, which is performing quite well in the market.

The bike was first launched in 2005, it not only registered good sales but also helped the company to increase its brand value and trust amongst the people. It is still considered as one of the most reliable commuters.
Though the company discontinued three of its motorcycles, at the same time brought some of the amazing products in the market. The recently, launched Shine SP and the Hornet 160R are good examples of the company’s futuristic approach.
