As has been over the years, the Unicorn is still relatively unchanged
The Honda Unicorn is now OBD 2-compliant, resulting in a price increase of Rs 4,082, bringing the new price to Rs 1,09,800 (ex-showroom Delhi). However, the increase doesn't offer much in terms of new features.
Apart from OBD 2 compliance, the bike's engine remains the same, with 12.9PS and 14Nm on tap from the 162.7cc mill, both of which are identical to the previous model. The Unicorn is available in three color options: Imperial Red Metallic, Mat Axis Grey Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black. The Red variant is aimed at those who prefer a bold and sporty look, while the Black variant caters to those who prefer a more stealthy look.
The motorcycle retains its original design, featuring a diamond-type frame and equipped with a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tires. In terms of safety, the Unicorn comes with a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake, supported by a single-channel ABS system.
Overall, the Unicorn hasn't undergone significant changes over the years and continues to be popular among Indian consumers. Despite the lack of substantial updates, the bike has maintained its steady sales figures month after month.
