The renowned Japanese manufacturer - Honda has recently unveiled the revised model of its middleweight sports tourer Honda CBR 500RR at the 2015 edition of AIMExpo that takes place in California. Compared to its debutant version, the bike receives sharper and aggressive lines along with minor touch ups here and there.
The refreshed Honda CBR 500RR comes with bolder appearance and impressive design philosophy, which the company calls as ‘Aggressive Speed Shaped’. The new model gets a sharp styling along with two LED lamps positioned at the front and looks somewhat inspired by the middleweight CBR 600RR and litre-class CBR 1000RR. Besides this, the exhaust gets a stylish makeover and pumps out improved exhaust notes. Honda has equipped the bike with a larger capacity fuel tank in comparison to its existing model. The front brake lever is also adjustable one to offer convenience.
Coming to the mechanicals, the bike comes powered by the same 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin motor that churns out a net power of 47bhp. The new version will be available in three majestic colours namely matte black metallic, millennium red and pearl white. As for pricing, the machine might be put on a slightly higher price tag considering the added features. The bike is expected to hit the markets in the starting months of year 2016.
