The mid-weight naked motorcycle now gets Crystal White and Matt Jet Black colour schemes apart from the already existing Matt Silver Ice option
Triumph India has introduced two new colour options - Crystal White and Matt Jet Black - for its middleweight naked, the Street Triple RS. Earlier, this variant was available only in a Matt Silver Ice colour scheme. Apart from the new colours, there are no changes whatsoever to the motorcycle. The price remains unchanged at Rs 11.13 lakh (ex-showroom). The Street Triple RS competes with the Kawasaki Z900, Yamaha MT-09 and MV Agusta Brutale 800 in the Indian two-wheeler market.
Key features of the Street Triple RS include a full-colour TFT instrumentation with a five-way joystick on the switchgear, ride-by-wire with five riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Rider Programmable and Track), ABS, switchable traction control, an on-board computer and a bi-directional Quickshifter.
Powering the Street Triple RS is a 765cc, in-line, 3-cylinder, DOHC engine with liquid cooling and fuel injection. In the RS variant, this powerplant generates 123PS at 11,700rpm and 77Nm at 10,800rpm and is paired with a 6-speed transmission with slip-assist clutch. The tail light and turn indicators are all LED, while the halogen headlamp comes with LED DRLs as standard.
The RS variant also features a top-of-the-line, fully-adjustable 41mm Showa Big Piston Front (BPF) inverted forks and a fully-adjustable Ohlins STX40 gas-charged monoshock at the rear. The braking setup consists of twin 310mm discs with Brembo radial callipers up front and a 220mm rear disc with Brembo calliper at the rear. The 17-inch cast alloy wheels are wrapped with 120-section front and 180-section rear Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP rubbers. Triumph even offers a range of over 60 accessories to customise your ride.
