It is now just Rs 651 dearer than before
- TVS launched the BS6 Jupiter late-last year.
- It is offered in only three variants: standard, ZX and Classic.
- Still misses out on a disc brake version.
TVS has been on a price hiking spree with most of its BS6 models affected. The latest to incur a price premium is its 110cc family scooter: the Jupiter. But fret not, the prices have gone up by up to Rs 651, which should not make that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. Here’s the updated price list of all variants of the Jupiter:
The BS6 Jupiter Classic is now around Rs 8,500 more expensive than its BS4 counterpart. Surprisingly, none of these variants get a front disc brake option and it seems like TVS will no longer be offering it on the Jupiter anytime soon.

The Jupiter continues to be powered by the same 109.7cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine, which generates 7.4PS and 8.4Nm. This new BS6 power figure is 0.51PS less than the BS4 version but torque remains the same. Even in terms of kerb weight, the BS6 Jupiter weighs 109kg, 1kg more than the older model. There are no other changes to report.
The new prices of the standard and ZX trims of the Jupiter are more affordable than its main rival: the Honda Activa 6G. That said, the Classic version is around Rs 2,500 dearer. The Hero Pleasure Plus still manages to undercut the two 110cc scooters by a significant margin.
