With a redesigned body work, the next-gen Scramblers come packed with new features
Ducati has unveiled the next-gen Scrambler 800’s, offering its iconic motorcycle in three flavours for now: Icon, Nightshift and Full Throttle. They look more fun inducing than ever, flaunting updated cosmetics, functional updates and customisation options. Here’s all that you get.
The new generation of Ducati Scramblers come with redesigned bodywork, which is more aesthetic, available in more colours, customisable fenders and tank covers.
On all three trims, the headlight is now full LED with DRLs and gets the iconic X badging on the exterior of the lens.
The most important update would be the revamped swingarm that results in a repositioned rear monoshock along with slightly revised ergonomics and trellis frame.

These revisions have made the bikes lighter by 4kg, now tipping the scales at 189kg kerb.
With modern bikes come modern features and tech. The scramblers come equipped with a new 4.3-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity, two ride modes: Wet and Road, cornering ABS and Ducati traction control.
Apart from this, most of the bike remains unchanged including the 803cc, liquid-cooled, L-twin engine making 73PS and 66.2Nm.
No signs of the updated Desert Sled variant yet. These updated Scramblers, though, should arrive by mid-2023.
